In 2023, I won what is now called the Boatshed award, an award given to one of the entrants of the Regional Songwriting Contest as a means to provide further guidance to an entrant that was an almost winner or finalist. Over the course of a half day at the Boatshed Studio in O'Connell, NSW, I recorded these songs with Kris Schubert who provided a great deal of guidance and insight into the process.
