I started writing lyrics at age 13 after watching a punk rock band at a school talent show. I got my first guitar when I was 16 and started tinkering with it but family and career put that on the back burner. After my nine year long marriage ended in 2019, I found myself in a room with my old six string, and decided I was going to give this music thing a red hot go. After finding that people actually liked hearing the songs I wrote, I started playing them more. After two unsuccessful attempts at getting into a local songwriting contest, I became a finalist on my third try in 2024 and, to my great delight, I was one of the winners.

My music borrows heavily from 90s rock and grunge, with the odd country-like song here and there. My lyrics touch on the subjects of unrequited love, loss of love, mental health, and occasionally myths about the sun.
